Origin of galactic positrons and the 511 keV signal: this includes all phenomena related to this, such as massive star and supernova nucleosynthesis, accreting and non-accreting compact objects, stellar physics, dark matter, and cosmic-ray propagation in the interstellar medium.
Astrophysical data analysis: advocate of full forward modelling approaches, now working on data from COSI and INTEGRAL.
