A baseline instrument configuration for
the
Solar Probe mission includes an All-Sky Imager. An animated fly-through
of the inner heliosphere from the perspective of the Solar Probe spacecraft
in its orbit is shown in AVI (3.0 MB)
and QuickTime (2.5 MB) format. The background
shows a 3-dimensional solar wind density distribution representative for
solar minimum conditions (tomographically derived from 1994 IPS data).
