NEWS ALERT: Cliff has moved to the CIERA center at Northwestern University! Please visit his new webpage!

My name is Cliff Johnson and I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, San Diego in the Center for Astrophysics and Space Sciences (CASS). I am a founding member of Karin Sandstrom's nearby galaxies group.

My research focuses on the study of star clusters in a galactic context, using these stellar systems to understand and characterize star formation. I completed my PhD at the University of Washington under the co-supervision of Julianne Dalcanton and Anil Seth. I analyzed the star cluster population of M31 as part of the Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury (PHAT) survey.
