CASS is located in SERF (Science & Engineering Research Facility), which is a pinkish-beige four-story building between the High Bay Physics building and Price Center East.
The following are driving directions to the UCSD Gilman Parking Structure and walking directions to SERF.

- Take I-5 South.
- Take Exit 28 for La Jolla Village Drive.
- Turn RIGHT at La Jolla Village Drive.
- Turn RIGHT at Villa La Jolla Dr (first stoplight).
- Drive up hill; Gilman Drive is 2nd stoplight.
- Continue through Gilman Drive intersection into
Gilman Parking Structure.

Gilman Parking Structure Instructions
Visitors park in Gilman Parking Structure in any white "V" (visitor) spaces, located on Levels 1-3. (Please note that Level 1 is below ground; Level 2 is street level). First, locate a space, park, then proceed on foot to one of the permit machines to purchase a permit.• Return to your vehicle and place the permit on the dashboard. Or pay with ParkMobile.
- Permits cost $4.20 per hour (daily maximum $33.60 per day). The permit machines accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and cash ($1 and $5 bills only. No change given). If no "V" parking spaces are available in Gilman, you may try another parking structure such as Osler, Hopkins or Pangea (See additional campus visitor parking information).
UC reciprocity agreement: UC employees with parking permits at other UC campuses may park at no charge in any red "A" (faculty), green "B" (staff), or "S" (student) parking spaces on campus. But you must first take your UC permit and valid UC ID to the Parking Office which is located in the Gilman Parking Structure, on the west side facing Russell Lane. Park in a 10-minute space on Level 2 (street level), walk around the corner to the Parking Office (follow signs with arrows), show them your permit, then they will issue you a complimentary parking permit (valid for up to 5 consecutive days). Return to your vehicle and place complimentary permit on dashboard. Park in any A, B, or S space in the parking structure or elsewhere.

Directions from Gilman Parking Structure to SERF
|
- Exit parking structure and proceed
north on Russell Lane for two blocks.
- SERF is at the end of the street
where Russell Lane intersects
Lyman Lane.
